Blondela

  • Artist (Draughtsman)
A draughtsman and naval officer with La Pérouse, several of Blondela's drawings appeared in Atlas, though none were featured Australian subjects. topographical draughtsman and naval officer, was a lieutenant on board L’Astrolabe , one of the two ships of the La Pérouse expedition. Blondela acted as draughtsman during the voyage, but although some of his earlier drawings were reproduced in the published Atlas no Australian works are known, all presumably perishing with Blondela when L’Astrolabe was wrecked off Vanikoro ( see Duché de Vancy ).
