Was 'smocked’ at Queensland’s first ever Smock Night, held in September 1994 at the opening of a 'State of Origin’ exhibition by B/W Club members at the Café Mediterraneo in Paddington, Brisbane. He then announced his retirement; in future 'Cedric’ will be drawn by another artist. Original in ML B/W Artists’ Club collection (PxD 586/TAINSH/7).
