Painter, Miss E. D’Arcy of Queensland showed a watercolour, Geraldine (cat. 141), enlarged from a photograph, in the Fine Arts section of the Metropolitan Intercolonial Exhibition in 1875. The exhibition was organised by the Agricultural Society of NSW and opened at Sydney on 6 April 1875. Miss E. D’Arcy was presumably the younger sister of the Miss D’Arcy who also showed worked at the same exhibition. Both may have been sisters of W. D’Arcy , who again showed work in the same exhibition.
