cartoonist and illustrator, born Vienna; arrived Australia in 1940 aboard the prison ship Dunera .

Reputedly worked for the Australasian Post in 1945-46 when the art editor was Alan McCulloch , along with Albert Tucker and McCulloch himself. One of the Dunera Boys who worked at Australasian Post (Frederick Schonbach, Erwin Fabian and Klaus Friedeberger ), winning a prize in the Post 's 1945 black-and-white art competition. He migrated to Brazil c.1946.
