cartoonist, signed a cartoon in Sydney Ure Smith and Gwen Morton Spencer’s Australia: National Journal reprinted in the Australia Week-end Book 2 (1943), 91: “This is my new maid, dear; I’m afraid she’s a bit flighty” (up near ceiling).

There is some speculation that “Joy Lush” is a pseudonym as there is a male Lush comic book artist listed in Annette Shiell’s Bonzer : Australian comics 1900-1990s , 1998.
