cartoonist, initialled Ballarat Punch cartoons, e.g. 16 November 1867, 632 (a mass of girls’ heads all expecting the Duke of Edinburgh to dance with them), and 'A Chinese Jar’ (two Chinese men involved in a collision), 10 June 1868, 168. One 'MC’ or 'CM’ also monogrammed cartoons in Australian Tit-Bits 1884-86, then Life 1886-91.
