cartoonist, signed a drawing of a maid opening a door to a begging Henry Lawson style figure holding out a jug, purchased by Elizabeth Lawson who’d like to identify the artist. A cartoon signed “MAC” (caps underlined with a curvy line) was published in the Queensland Evening Observer on 6 April 1901 (reproduced Memoirs of the Queensland Museum vol.2, part 2, 220).
