amateur photographer, claimed in the English Photographic News of 1863 to have been the first person to record photographically the Lake St Clair district in Tasmania, having taken 'dry’ collodion plates and a stereoscopic camera on a trip there in 1861. The name looks like a pseudonym and Morton Allport was taking stereo photographs of Lake St Clair at precisely this time.
