caricaturist and cartoonist, has an Italian background. Working freelance, he has been a professional cartoonist since 1983. He was president of the Black and White Artists’ Club in 1992-93 and 1998-99 and was made a life member in 1993. He’s not anti-feminist, he says; women cartoonists just haven’t been 'good enough’ until recently (see his 'final word’ in Lindesay 1994, 89) – a comment since repented. He mainly draws caricatures – for the Manly Daily , the Australian , the Daily Telegraph , the trade publications and for special events – although he occasionally does cartoons too, e.g. for the 1991 'Quit’ campaign (original ML PxD 672/33).

Panozzo has conducted cartoon workshops all over Australia, according to his blurb advertising one at the Grafton Artsfest 2001, which also claimed that his cartoons and caricatures 'have appeared in 32 books and his work has been hung in 27 exhibitions in Australia and overseas. He has designed 11 CDs. Elton John even has a Panozzo original hanging in his home!’ A regular participant in the NMA’s annual Bringing the House Down exhibitions at OPH, Canberra, he showed 'Doctors in Distress’ in 2001.
