Several of the Dunera Boys, wartime refugees interned at Hay, NSW, (i.e. Frederick Schonbach , Erwin Fabian and Klaus Friedeberger ) worked as cartoonists and illustrators, reputedly for the Australasian Post in 1945-46 when the art editor was Alan McCulloch , along with Albert Tucker and McCulloch himself.
