1 B Current Colonial-era Ballarat cartoonist whose work was published in the Ballarat Punch. His 1867 cartoon 'The sleep of sorrow, the dream of joy' was a parody of Goya's renowned print.
1 B. (Miss) Current Miss B was an art teacher who specialised in drawing. She was advertising her skills in Sydney in July 1835 shortly after arriving from London.
1 B., A. Current Colonial-era Melbourne cartoonist who contributed to Melbourne Punch in the late 1880s. There is some speculation that A.B. is Alfred Scott Broad.
1 B., A. B. Current Little is know of the sketcher whose 1871 wash drawing 'Kangaroo Island, South Australia' was initialled 'A.B.B.' The work was bequeathed to the National Library of Australia in 1955 under the will of famous Australian author Miles Franklin.
1 B., A. E. Current A.E.B. was a watercolourist who presumably worked in Tasmania in the 1850s. Their work 'Warratah [sic] Mount Wellington' is held in the National Library of Australia.
1 B., A. H. Current Little is known of the watercolourist who painted landscapes of the NSW and Victorian countryside but that they were active in the mid-nineteenth century around Geelong and the Clarence River district in NSW.

1 B., F. Current Sketcher and art student. F.B. was a pupil of Mrs Vaillant's who exhibited with the NSW Academy of Arts in 1875.

1 B., J. I. Current Jesuit priest who pursued cultural interests along with his commitment to the natural sciences. There is some suggestion that he is the J.I.B who signed four watercolour landscapes of Tasmania in 1851.
1 B., R. Current Colonial era Melbourne cartoonist. There is some speculation that R.B. is the Melbourne Punch cartoonist Luther Daniels.
1 Baas, Marie Current Baas was a flower painter who exhibited with the Royal Art Society of New South Wales in 1886. A later exhibition in 1890 drew the attention of both the Sydney Morning Herald and the Illustrated Sydney News.
1 Baass, J. C. H. Current Lithographer. Baass exhibited at the Sydney Intercolonial Exhibition in 1870.
1 Babbage, Benjamin Herschel Current Sketcher who trained as an engineer. Babbage was also an amateur photographer, architect, scientist and explorer. His pen-and-ink expedition sketches were shown in Adelaide at the 1859 South Australian Society of Arts exhibition.
1 Babbage, E. Current E. Babbage was an artist who exhibited in Adelaide in 1859. It is largely thought that he is related to the other artistic Babbages including Benjamin, Charles and Zara.
1 Babbage, Zara Current A painter who exhibited her oils in the 1907 Australian Exhibition of Women's Work.
1 Babet, Nathan Current Nathan Babet is an emerging artist working in the field of New Media. He studied at the University of Sydney, College of Fine Arts, and in Berlin at Universitat der Kunste. He works primarily with video installation as a medium, exploring ideas around identity, heritage and the individual in the environment.
