Painter, illustrator, lithographer and natural history collector during the mid to late 1800s. At one point Harriet and her sister, Helena, executed almost all the artwork for the scientific literature produced in Sydney.

    Description

    The work of the Scott Sisters, Harriet and Helena, was added to the UNESCO Australian Memory of the World Register in 2019. This includes their Lepidoptera collection of notebooks, ms, sketches and watercolour paintings of Australian butterflies and moths.
