Val West (Law) ancestory is Aboriginal from the Gamilaraay Language Group and feels deeply connected to the Dharawal Language Group. She is a Painter, Printmaker, Community Artist and a member of Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Cooperative. She is represented in the Permenant Collections of Wollongong Art Gallery and the University of Wollongong. She has a Bachelor of Creative Arts Visual Arts, University of Wollongong.
