David Ross b. 1828

Sketcher and architect David Ross was elected a fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1879. He and R.A. Dowden, according to the local legend, were pupils of A.W.N. Pugin, the English pioneer Victorian Gothic Revival architect.
