John Renno

  • Artist (Painter)
John Renno worked as a scene-painter and theatre mechanist at Drury Lane, Covent Garden, the Princess's and the Surrey Theatre, London. In 1852 he migrated to Australia. His contribution to the production of This Great City (1891) at the Alexandra Theatre, Melbourne, was described by the Lorgnette as a 'masterpiece of mechanical effect with which Renno is so notably connected'.
