Lester Bunbury

  • Designer (Furniture Designer / Cabinetmaker)
Bunbury's career as a furniture designer and lecturer began in the mid-20th century. He worked with Fred Ward for the Myer Emporium in-house studio and other clients, was the interior designer for the Atomic Age exhibition, Sydney (1947) and the chief designer of the Australian Fashion Fair (1950). Principal of the "Design Technicians" practice and a founder member of the Society of Designers for Industry in 1948.
