Warlpiri artist who began painting for Papunya Tula in 1980 under the expert instruction of Mick Tjakamarra. He went on to win the Northern Territory Art Award in 1984. After moving to Alice Springs in the mid 80s, he also painted for the Centre for Aboriginal Artists and Craftsmen. He developed a 'flicked' style of paintwork that he made his own.
