Philip Hickie b. 1 January 1927

  • Designer
Hickie was a designer who worked in theatre design, then for the ABC television's design department. In 1964, he established Patrician Films and directed shorts. A diverse designer, he designed fountain works, christmas decorations, ceramics and directional graphics for interiors. He was head of design at the National Art School, later a lecturer in industrial design at the Sydney College of the Arts.
