Embroiderer and painter who was born in Hungary where she had studied art before coming to Australia. She exhibited with the West Australian Society of Arts, the Western Australian Women Painters and Applied Arts Society, and with the Western Australian Women's Society for Fine Arts and Crafts.

Embroiderer and painter who was born in Hungary where she had studied art before coming to Australia. Mrs A. M. Massey exhibited embroidery and designs with the West Australian Society of Arts in 1927. In 1928 she exhibited black and white portraits. In 1930 she exhibited watercolour Fruit and Flowers and a series of designs.

In 1935 the critic 'Renee’ wrote: “Prominent in the arts and crafts section was a collection of embroidery, designed and executed by Mrs A. Massey.” This was apparently Hungarian peasant work executed in silk. She also exhibited with the Western Australian Women Painters and Applied Arts Society.” In 1940 in the Newspaper House Gallery exhibition Mrs A. M. Massey exhibited a stencil for wallpaper. In 1941 her work was described as “exhibits exquisite work.” Mrs A. M. Massey apparently also took up woodcarving which she exhibited in 1947. She was made life member of the Western Australian Women’s Society for Fine Arts and Crafts in 1952 “for her long and helpful association.”
