Amy Bosworth was a noted flower painter of the early 20th century in South Australia. Her 1910 oil painting 'Roses' was in the collection of the Art Gallery of South Australia for a number of years.
painter, was born in Riverton SA. She studied at the School of Design, Adelaide under H.P. Gill. Painter of flowers, especially roses. The Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA) catalogues of 1913 and 1946 note her Roses 1910, oil, acquired 1911, 14.5 × 59 ins, but this information has been omitted from the 1960 catalogue. Presumably the painting had been deaccessioned in the interregnum.
