sketcher, was born in Morphettville, South Australia, second of the six daughters of (Sir) John Morphett and Elizabeth, née Fisher . Her father lent her flower painting Milnthorpe Church and Barnard Castle to the 1859 exhibition of the South Australian Society of Arts. On 24 June 1861 Amy married Charles William May ; they had seven children. She died at Glenelg on 16 May 1922.
