Born c.1955, she is a Warlpiri person who lives at Lajamanu and whose country is Yarturlu-yarturlu (the Granites) and Dreamings are Ngurlu (Seed), Janganpa (Possum) and Laju (Witchetty Grub). After working at Lajamanu School for several years as an assistant teacher, she went on to do two years teacher training.
