I am recording many evants in the life of the First Police Magistrate of Melbourne 1874-1907 Joseph Anderson Panton and I have found a lengthy article in The Leader newspaper of April 4 1903 which includes a sketch of Mr Panton well dresses and wearibg a bowler hat as well as a well reseached and detailed record of Panton's Life. the title says Represtative Men. The sketch is on the State Labrary of victoria's site. -
