Born in Willowra, where she has lived all her life. She is a Warlpiri/Anmatyerre speaker and her principal Dreamings are Warkilpirri and Malpa (Bush Beans). She began painting at the end of the ’80s when materials became available in Willowra through the CDEP adviser, also painting coolamons and digging sticks. She is actively involved in the ritual life of the Willowra community: 'I usually get involved in the ceremonies – initiations and other important ceremonies – which is very important to me.’
