Born 'in the bush’, probably in the Stansmore Range area in the mid ’30s, Bye Bye is a Kukatja speaker and a leader of the Women’s Law in the Balgo community. The stories of this Law fill her canvases, usually Tingari Dreamings. Her country lies around the Stansmore Ranges, Point Moody and Yagga Yagga. Married to artist Sunfly Tjampitjin , she has been painting for Warlayirti Artists since 1986. The artist often produces surprisingly imaginative designs and has generally resisted the tendency of many other women artists at Balgo to use brighter colours.
