sketcher and illustrator, made a drawing in grey wash of a yacht and two ships reputedly near Sydney Heads (1815, ML). The C.R. who provided sketches of New South Wales for engravings in the Illustrated Sydney News in the mid 1850s appears to have been C. Roper .
