Born in approximately 1945, Charlie Chisolm was an Anmatyerre speaker whose traditional country was Yuelamu. He lived sometimes at Santa Teresa, sometimes at Mt Allan and sometimes at Napperby. He painted the Dreamings for Yuelamu (Honey Ant) as well as Bush Potato. He was the brother of Mary Allan Nangala and Jack Cook . He also had Warlpiri connections and had painted at both Yuendumu and Napperby. He had been selling his paintings through Mt Allan since at least the mid ’80s, sometimes painting his ground sheet when no other materials were available to work on. One of his paintings is included in the Alice Springs Museum/Art Gallery. He died in the early ’90s.
