Chris Ackland was born in 1971 and is a painter from the Kokatha people of South Australia. Ackland spent some time working for the Ceduna Aboriginal Arts and Culture Centre. Ackland has exhibited in the 2006 and 2007 Our Mob exhibitions staged at the Adelaide Festival Centre.
