Daniel Boyd was born in Cairns, Queensland, in 1982. He lives and works in Sydney, New South Wales. His work was exhibited in 'Culture Warriors’ at the National Gallery of Australia in 2007, a show which toured to the Art Gallery of South Australia and the Art Gallery of Western Australia in 2008 and the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane and in Washington DC, USA in 2009. He was also included in 'Contemporary Australia: Optimism’, 2008, at the Institute of Modern Art in Brisbane.
