Born in 1950, Denny Jampijinpa is an Anmatyerre speaker whose traditional country is Mt Allan. He is a 'bush doctor’: traditional Aboriginal medicine man. The Dreamings he can paint are Snake, Bush Tucker, White Creek Wallaby, Scrub Turkey, and Honey Ants from White Creek. He is married to Daisy Napangardi, and now lives at Nyirrpi. He began painting in about 1987.
