Freeman, resident of Western Australia (2026), is an interior design education leader. He had been Federal President of DIA, Professor of Design and Head of the Design School at the University of Technology Sydney. As an accomplished artist and designer, his most recent work is a series of of five volumes on cities. His Venice book won a Gold Medal in the Fine Art category of the 21st Independent Publishing Awards in 2017.
