sketcher, exhibited Ten Miscellaneous Sketches (Colonial) at the 1856 Victorian Exhibition of Fine Arts, Melbourne. The artist was possibly Eliza, daughter of John Cotton, who had taken drawing lessons from George Alexander Gilbert in 1848 together with her sister Caroline (Le Souëf).
