Sketched Tasmanian scenes that include Campbell Town, Hobart Town, rural areas and churches. He produced an album containing seventeen of his watercolour sketches.
sketcher and clergyman(?), seems to be the Rev. Mr Neville who moved to St Leonards near Launceston early in 1872 after having lived in Tasmania for some time. E.H. Neville has had an album containing seventeen watercolour sketches of Tasmanian scenes (Mitchell Library) attributed to him. Although unsigned and undated they appear to extend from about 1847 to the 1880s. They include scenes of Campbell Town and Hobart Town as well as rural landscapes. There are several watercolours of churches.
