Earnest Smithers

Smithers was a noted inventor and designer responsible for the design and development of the "Surfoplane" inflated corrugated rubber surf mat (patented in 1933) and the "Jaffle Iron (patented in 1949). He is described as a resident of Bondi/Bronte in press reports.
