Signed and dated 1858, it is inscribed on the reverse: 'Mona Vale/ Tasmania/ M.L.K…for Mr Cullin/ Next [property to] Hill’. Offered for auction by Sotheby’s (London) on 8 November 1984, it is now in the National Library.
