cartoonist, was born in New Zealand. He contributed to the Bulletin in the 1890s, e.g. 1899 (ill. Lindesay 1979, p.107), and was working as a cartoonist on Sydney’s Evening News when it closed (1931). Then he moved to London where he was 'well established’ by 1933, acc. Moore.
