cartoonist and illustrator, born Vienna; arrived Australia in 1940 aboard the prison ship Dunera.

Reputedly worked for the Australasian Post in 1945-46 when the art editor was Alan McCulloch, along with Albert Tucker and McCulloch himself. One of the Dunera Boys who worked at Australasian Post (Frederick Schonbach, Erwin Fabian and Klaus Friedeberger), winning a prize in the Post's 1945 black-and-white art competition. He migrated to Brazil c.1946.
