George A. Daniel was a landscape painter active in Sydney during the 1890s. Little is known of his art career but he exhibited with the Art Society of New South Wales from 1892-94. The artist worked in oil and watercolour, and lived in the Sydney suburb of Summer Hill. One Art Society exhibit from 1893 titled The Still and Silent River (£21) was illustrated in the exhibition catalogue.
