Glass maker Giles Bettison (b.1966), began making murrini decorated glass vessels in late 1995. Bettison graduated with First Class Honours from the Canberra School of Art, ACT, in 1996.

In the early 1990s he worked as a production glass blower at JamFactory Craft and Design, Adelaide, SA.

Bettison’s work is represented in the collection of the Powerhouse Museum, Sydney, NSW.
