Descon Laminates

A manufacturing firm initiated by Peter Makeig (furniture designer) in 1951 located in Brookvale NSW making Eames (described as the "plyform chair" and Hardoy furniture under (and without) license. They also manufactured Roger McLay's Kone chair. The firm closed in 1962. Kirsty Grant, et al. Mid-Century Modern. Australian Furniture Design.
