Hilda Abbott

Abbott was an interior designer and an early member of the Society of Interior Designers of Australia. Working with the architect, Robert Maclurcan, she was responsible for the interior design of the 1950s remodelling of the Wentworth Hotel. She also designed rooms in the Canberra Motel, the Metropole Hotel and the interiors of the Governor's Residence, Darwin.
