architect and teacher of technical drawing, advertised his availability to teach Technical drawing from Christ’s College, Hobart (Mercury, 4 October 1884, 1). In 1885 he advertised: “Tenders are invited for the erection of a villa residence in Murray-street. Plans…at my office. J.H. Brabin, architect, Ferguson’s Buildings, Collins and Elizabeth streets” (Mercury 17 September 1885, 1).
