Cartoonist, architectural historian and architect, does ink satirical drawings and occasionally makes objects about the 'heritage’ business for which he worked for most of his career (senior curator Historic Houses Trust of NSW). Two plastic models, 'Stuff your own Elizabeth Farm’ 1982 ('Instructions: If in doubt, consult the NSW Government Architect’) and 'Stuff your own Conservatorium of Music of 1999 (with identical instructions), were exhibited in the 1999 S.H. Ervin black and white show along with a book of xeroxes of his cartoons, which are virtually all unpublished and in private collections. A couple of published examples appeared as illustrations to Joan Kerr’s Meanjin article on building restoration.
