Irish colonial female artist who turned from exhibiting her oils, watercolours, pencil and crayon drawings of biblical themes towards teaching. Between 1864 and 1875, she exhibited only once with the Victorian Academy of Art.
painter and art teacher, left Liverpool, England on 5 July 1855 on board the Champion of the Seas , with her elderly widowed mother, her younger brother William Augustus Wilkinson, his wife Anne Jane, née Byrne, and their daughter and infant son.
