Bayliss pioneered use of art in psychology services for treating children with behavioural problems. She also raised money for Alzheimer's research via her artwork.

Description

In 1953 Janet joined the Bunbury Art Society and remained a member until Dec 1966 when her family left for Scotland. She was secretary for some years. One year she had a big role in organising the Bunbury Art Competition. The judges awarded her a significant prize, for which she had not intended to compete, and which made her feel a bit conflicted!
She exhibited at least once with Anne Creed in Perth, and, once in Adelaide.
