George Gough & Son, Albert street,an exhibition of “Queensland”, oil paintings, water-colours, pastels and line drawings. Jack Sommers of Vic: 24 studies,“Breakers, Amity Point”, “The White Jabot”, “The Poinciana Tree”,“Sunset from North Quay”, and a portrait study of Mr. Bernard Ingleby a poet, in crayons. There were 10 pictures by Mr. J.P. Davis of NSW -“Brisbane Drinkers, Drinks and Toasts”, “Hibiscus” and “Frangipanni (pastel)”, “Sylvia”, “Mr Brisbane”, “Brisbane Police Type”, “Dainty Miss Brisbane” & 2 other Brisbane type in line-drawing.
