professional photographer, was listed as a photographer in the Melbourne Directory : at 128 Bridge Road, Richmond, by 1862 and at 150 Smith Street, East Collingwood, in 1864-65. He may be the John Rogers who had 'a model daguerrean establishment’ in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1856-58.
