Joyce Brown

  • Designer (Architect / Interior Architect / Landscape Architect)
Brown was an interior designer, manager of the "Contemporary Shop", Anthony Hordern Dept Store, Sydney. By 1960, Hordern had established an in-store "Design Centre" selling Fler and Grant Featherston furniture. Brown was also a broadcaster on design on 2BL ABC Radio and winner of 1952 Good Design Award for furniture design from Society of Interior Designers of Australia. She studied at the Sydney Technical College.
