Sketcher, compiled an octavo album of 57 Australian pencil sketches in the 1870s, titled 'SKETCHES’, with signature 'K.G. Kennedy/ 159 Collins Street East’ inside front cover. Offered by Christie’s Melbourne on 7 May 2003, lot 278, with 'Government House, Melbourne’, illustrated, most were Victorian, including 'Lilydale’; Arthur’s Seat, Hobson’s Bay, Melbourne; Hastings; Ballarat; Cape Schank; Heidelberg; St Kilda; Park Street, Emerald Hill; Sandridge; Dromana; Brighton; Preston; Melbourne; Williamstown; and French Island. A few views were Tasmanian. The majority are inscribed with titles and further inscribed with titles in French, some dated 1873-77, including 10 panoramic views over two sheets.
