professional photographer and importer, was working as a photographer at 65 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy, according to the Melbourne Directory for 1862, which also identifies him as one of the Cohen Brothers, furniture importers of 92 Bourke Street East, Melbourne. Presumably the other brother was Isidor .
